WORKING PHILOSOPHY

      The explanation here may be a little long, but it is necessary for you to understand my way of thinking. Read ,please..!

I´m a former professor at a federal university, who has always focused on conducting scientific research with a strong bias towards the extra-university reality because he always saw  his main mission to be the training and formation of qualified geologists and geophysicists - professionals who know the concepts and models scientific in theory, yes, as befits the academic; but equally capable of recognizing, quantifying and solving problems in practice. The young professional needs to know how to face the challenges of the "real world", the world of the market, the world with demand of oil, gas, fresh water, ores...

This is the north that during three decades guided me, and with my academic research group I´ve conducted R&D projects in several sedimentary basins and with different approaches; under technical-scientific cooperation with institutions such as IBP and ANP; and companies such as Petrobrás, El Paso do Brasil, PANORO Energy and GEOPARK E&P.

Hence, I face the challenges with the scientist's critical-analytical look and not with the mechanical-repetitive look of the classic service provider. I study the problem without entering the “automatic mode” dictated by norms and protocols that often do not solve ...
